I have worked for the Beauty Institute for five years, and it was the best choice I could have made. I have grown so much as a teacher, and I love to see students’ success both during their time at school and after graduation. My best advice to students is to never give up and work hard every day. The best thing of all is that we can create anything we want!

I’ve been a stylist for 12 years and I specialize in coloring, highlighting, and short haircuts. I’ve been an instructor for four years, and I always enjoy helping others learn and grow. My favorite part of being a teacher at The Beauty Institute is watching students prosper both during their academic careers and once they graduate. As an instructor, I always strive to share everything that I’ve learned along the way in my career. My advice to anyone in this industry is to always attempt to learn something new every day!

I’m a graduate of the Beauty Institute and have worked at multiple salons. I specialized in hair extensions, wigs, braids, and natural hair care. My favorite part about being an educator is being a leader and inspiring my students to follow their dream of becoming successful hair stylists. My words of inspiration for students would be: No one ever told us that success would be easy, so work hard and conquer one day at a time. Never give up on your dreams!

I am a double graduate of The Beauty Institute. The best part about being an educator here is having the chance to share my passion with the students and seeing the rewarding moments when they achieve their goals. My best advice for students is: some of your greatest victories will come after your most painful experiences. Be patient and trust the process!

Being a hairstylist/educator is more than just a job for me. My passion began at the really early age of 13, and I became officially licensed at the age of 20. I graduated The Beauty Institute in 2010 and shortly after opened my own salon. A few years later, I decided to start venturing from behind the chair and participated in hair competitions, styled for pageants, styled a season of New York Fashion Week, was an assistant director for hair for two seasons of Atlantic City Fashion Week, and did work for music videos. I then returned to The Beauty Institute for my educator’s license in 2017 and graduated in 2018. Prior to being an educator at The Beauty Institute, I instructed and led several makeup classes for an international brand traveling along the east coast. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my students and watching them grow into amazing stylists using the tools and steps I’ve taught them. My advice to aspiring cosmetologists is to do what you like and do it your absolute best, you’ll have no regrets if it’s truly what you want.

I am a double graduate of The Beauty Institute and have been teaching here since 2014. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the students’ light bulbs go off and watching them grow and learn. I love following their careers and seeing all of our success stories, like students buying homes, landing their dream jobs, and getting promoted! My advice to students is to never quit and learn from every experience in school! Always stay a student; education is half the key to success, the other half is persistence.

I have worked for the Beauty Institute for six years, and I feel that being a part of this industry is very rewarding and opens the doors for multiple opportunities. My favorite part about my job is that I get to work in a comfortable environment while I converse and engage with people. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. I’m also a shopaholic who loves fashion and home designing!

I’ve worked in the cosmetology industry for 20 years. In 2007, I obtained my teacher’s license and attended school to become a certified massage therapist and a makeup specialist. I’ve have certifications in multiple haircolor, hair cutting and hair extension systems, as well as three film credits for my hair and makeup work. I’ve taken full advantage of practicing and studying all aspects of the cosmetology industry so that I can educate today’s cosmetology students on the latest trends and foundational information. I have a passion for working in both a salon/spa environment and in the classroom. The most fulfilling part of being a teacher at The Beauty Institute is seeing students graduate. It’s great to see how far they’ve come since day one, to know that they will continue to pursue their dreams in this amazing industry, and to reflect on how I was a part of the team that helped them get to that point.
